Van Andel & Peace Fine Jewellery is a luxury jewellery brand with a very distinctive style. VA&P is created for a woman who loves the extraordinary, has a taste for luxury and a strong sense of individuality and style, and who love to stand out in a crowd.

The People

Kees van Andel is from the Netherlands, where he studied at the Rotterdam school of fine art. He started his design journey at a young age making very unusual furniture and has progressed from one medium to another throughout his life, finally finding his true passion in making fine jewellery.
Karen Peace, originally from the UK, has always been a travelling entrepreneur. She opened her first fashion boutique in Amsterdam when she was only 22 yrs old.

Karen and Kees fell in love in the 80’s in Amsterdam, where they got married and then travelled the world together. They explored the mountains, jungles and the cultures of Asia in the days long before mobile phones and insta-bloggers exisited, all the time gathering inspiration for their art.  They finally made their home in 2002 in the village of Assagao in Goa, India, where they have continued to create their unique handcrafted fine jewellery designs ever since.

Showrooms

Their flagship showroom, Cheshire Cat Gallery Goa, in Assagao, was recognized for 12 years as THE Luxury Jewellery destination in Goa.
